“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10
In Grace Kid’s Ministry, we expose children of all ages to God's truth, preparing them for a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. As we build this foundation, it is our hope that these children will grow in their knowledge and love of Christ and in turn, want to share his love with others.
When do Grace Kids meet?
At Grace Falls Church, we find it highly valuable and important to have children be a part of the worship service (begins at 10am) as a collective body of believers. Children of all ages remain in the worship service while we offer up praise to the Lord through song. Before preaching begins, nursery (ages 0-5 years old) are dismissed. In nursery, children are provided a loving and nurturing atmosphere.
Grow Groups (Sunday School) begins at 11:15am following worship service. During Grow Groups, we offer classes for all ages of children. Nursery (0-3), Older Preschool (4-6 year old), Elementary (2nd grade-5th grade). Older Preschool and Elementary students use the Gospel Project curriculum. This curriculum is used church wide in hopes that families may continue to talk about the teachings and apply them together throughout the week. The Gospel Project teaches your child all of the major stories of the Old and New Testaments. Of course, we also allow time for playing with friends as we strive to make Sunday morning lots of fun!
